The Chosen Season 1-5 (5BD) Blu-ray
Discover the globally acclaimed historical drama The Chosen, a multi-season television series that brings the life and teachings of Jesus to the screen through the perspectives of the people who encountered Him.
Set in first-century Israel under Roman rule, the series focuses on Jesus of Nazareth and the people whose lives are transformed after meeting Him. Rather than telling the story only from Jesus’ perspective, The Chosen explores the experiences, relationships, struggles, doubts, and faith of His followers and those around Him.
Across Seasons 1-5, viewers follow Jesus as He begins His public ministry, gathers His disciples, performs miracles, teaches crowds, and challenges the religious and political authorities of the time.
Season 1 introduces Jesus and several of the people who will become central to His story, including Simon Peter, Matthew, Mary Magdalene, Nicodemus, and other early followers. The season explores how their lives begin to change after encountering Jesus.
Season 2 expands the story as Jesus’ ministry grows and His followers face new challenges. The disciples continue learning from Him while His growing popularity attracts increasing attention from religious and political authorities.
Season 3 follows Jesus and His disciples as their ministry continues to expand. The series explores faith, friendship, conflict, miracles, and the personal challenges faced by those following Jesus.
Season 4 brings the story into an increasingly tense period as Jesus’ ministry faces greater opposition. Relationships among the disciples are tested while political and religious tensions continue to rise.
Season 5, subtitled The Chosen: Last Supper, focuses on the events of Holy Week, following Jesus and the apostles from the Triumphal Entry through the Last Supper. The official series description highlights the growing conflict surrounding Jesus as religious and political leaders become increasingly determined to stop Him.
The official The Chosen website describes the series as a historical drama based on the life of Jesus, told through the eyes of those who knew Him. The first five seasons are available as a complete viewing collection, while later seasons continue the larger story.
This 5BD Blu-ray collection brings together Seasons 1-5 and is an excellent choice for viewers interested in historical television, biblical storytelling, faith-based drama, and character-driven series.
