A Man on the Inside Season 1-2 (2BD) Blu-ray
Meet Charles Nieuwendyk, a retired professor who finds a surprising new purpose when he is recruited by a private investigator to work undercover.
Starring Ted Danson, A Man on the Inside is a comedy series that combines witty humor, amateur detective mysteries, heartfelt relationships, and unexpected adventures.
In Season 1, Charles goes undercover at a retirement community in San Francisco to investigate a case involving missing jewelry. While attempting to solve the mystery, he becomes increasingly involved with the residents and develops new friendships and connections.
What begins as a simple undercover assignment gradually becomes a much more meaningful experience for Charles. Along the way, he learns to open himself up to new experiences and discovers a renewed sense of community and purpose.
In Season 2, Charles has become more confident in his investigative abilities and takes on a new undercover assignment at Wheeler College. This time, he investigates a stolen laptop connected to a potentially enormous financial donation and a complicated dispute involving the college.
The second season introduces new suspects, new mysteries, and a larger investigation while continuing the relationships and friendships developed in the first season. Charles finds himself surrounded by competing interests, suspicious characters, unexpected clues, and plenty of opportunities for humorous detective work.
The series balances its mystery elements with warm character development and comedy. Charles’ investigations provide the central storyline, while his relationships with family, friends, colleagues, and the people he meets along the way give the series its heartfelt personality.
