Star Wars: The Acolyte Season 1 (2-Disc) DVD Box Set
Travel to a galaxy far, far away in Star Wars: The Acolyte, a live-action series set approximately 100 years before the events of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.
During the final days of the High Republic era, the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic appear to enjoy a period of peace. That stability is challenged when a series of shocking crimes leads a respected Jedi Master into an investigation involving a dangerous warrior from his past.
As the investigation develops, hidden connections and unsettling revelations emerge. The characters are drawn into a mystery involving secrets, shifting loyalties and the growing influence of sinister forces.
The story explores the relationship between former allies, the responsibilities of the Jedi, and the mysteries surrounding the light and dark sides of the Force. With unfamiliar worlds, intense confrontations and distinctive lightsaber combat, the series expands the Star Wars universe into a different period of its history.
Created by Leslye Headland, The Acolyte stars Amandla Stenberg and Lee Jung-jae, alongside Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Charlie Barnett and Carrie-Anne Moss.
