Product Description
Experience the complete classic samurai anime Rurouni Kenshin with all 95 episodes collected in this extensive 22-disc DVD box set.
Set during Japan’s Meiji era, the series follows Himura Kenshin, a wandering swordsman who was once the legendary assassin known as Hitokiri Battosai.
Haunted by his violent past, Kenshin vows never to kill again and carries a reverse-blade sword as he travels through Japan protecting innocent people and searching for a peaceful new life.
After arriving in Tokyo, Kenshin meets Kaoru Kamiya, Sanosuke Sagara, Yahiko Myojin, and Megumi Takani, forming friendships that become central to his new life. However, enemies from Kenshin’s past and powerful new opponents repeatedly force him to draw his sword again.
From the early Tokyo adventures to the acclaimed Kyoto Arc, Rurouni Kenshin combines intense sword fights, martial arts, historical drama, romance, friendship, and themes of redemption.
This collection includes all 95 episodes of the original 1996–1998 television series, bringing together the complete classic anime in one 22-disc DVD box set.
