Product Description
Experience the complete classic detective series Columbo with this extensive 34-disc DVD box set, featuring the original television series and its later feature-length mysteries.
Starring Peter Falk as the legendary Lieutenant Columbo, the series follows a seemingly absent-minded but brilliant Los Angeles homicide detective who solves complex murder cases using patience, observation and clever psychological techniques.
Known for his trademark trench coat, old Peugeot car, ever-present cigar and unforgettable catchphrase “Just one more thing…”, Columbo frequently outsmarts wealthy, powerful and highly intelligent criminals who believe they have committed the perfect murder.
Unlike traditional detective dramas, Columbo often reveals the killer at the beginning of each episode, allowing viewers to follow the fascinating psychological battle between the detective and the murderer.
Throughout the series, Columbo investigates elaborate crimes involving business executives, celebrities, doctors, lawyers and other influential figures.
Featuring memorable guest stars including Jack Cassidy, Robert Culp, Patrick McGoohan, William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Ruth Gordon and John Cassavetes, Columbo combines crime, mystery, psychological suspense and classic detective storytelling.
This collection includes all 69 episodes, including 24 later television movies, bringing together the complete Columbo series in one comprehensive 34-disc DVD box set.
