Product Description
Enter the extraordinary world of dreams, nightmares and ancient mythology with The Sandman: The Complete Series, featuring Seasons 1-2 collected in this 6-disc DVD box set.
Based on the acclaimed DC comic book series created by Neil Gaiman, The Sandman follows Dream, also known as Morpheus, one of the seven powerful beings known as the Endless.
After being captured and imprisoned for more than a century, Dream finally escapes and begins a dangerous journey to restore his lost powers, rebuild his kingdom and repair the damage caused by his long absence.
Throughout Season 1, Dream encounters mysterious supernatural beings, dangerous nightmares, ancient gods and powerful enemies while travelling between the waking world, the Dreaming and Hell.
In Season 2, Dream faces the consequences of his past decisions as he reunites with his family, confronts powerful supernatural forces and struggles to protect his kingdom from destruction.
Featuring characters including Death, Desire, Despair, Destiny, Delirium, Lucifer Morningstar, The Corinthian and many others, the series combines dark fantasy, supernatural horror, mythology, mystery and drama.
Starring Tom Sturridge, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Gwendoline Christie, Boyd Holbrook, Jenna Coleman, Mason Alexander Park and Vivienne Acheampong, The Sandman delivers a visually stunning journey through the world of dreams.
This collection brings together both seasons of The Sandman, including the final chapter of Morpheus’ story, in one 6-disc DVD box set.
