Godfather of Harlem Season 1-4 Complete Collection (4BD) Blu-ray
Step into the dangerous streets of 1960s New York with Godfather of Harlem Season 1-4. This gripping crime drama tells the fictionalized story of notorious Harlem crime boss Ellsworth “Bumpy” Johnson, played by Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker.
After spending years in prison, Bumpy returns to Harlem and discovers that the neighborhood he once controlled has been transformed. With the Italian Mafia dominating the streets, he begins a dangerous campaign to reclaim his territory and rebuild his criminal empire.
Across the first four seasons, Bumpy becomes involved in increasingly complex battles involving organized crime, rival Mafia families, political power and the changing social landscape of Harlem. The series also weaves fictionalized events and historical figures into its story, including Malcolm X, while exploring Bumpy’s relationships with his family, allies and enemies.
Season 4 continues Bumpy’s struggle for control of Harlem as he faces the New York Mafia and the emergence of a new rival, Frank Lucas. At the same time, Bumpy must deal with the aftermath of Malcolm X’s assassination and his daughter Elise’s involvement with the Black Panthers.
Featuring a powerful ensemble cast led by Forest Whitaker, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ilfenesh Hadera, Antoinette Crowe-Legacy, Giancarlo Esposito and Rome Flynn, Godfather of Harlem combines organized crime, family drama, political conflict and historical events into a compelling television saga.
