Enter the mysterious and unsettling world of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, a supernatural drama based on Anne Rice’s bestselling Lives of the Mayfair Witches novel trilogy.
The story follows Dr. Rowan Fielding, a talented neurosurgeon who begins to discover that she is connected to a powerful family of witches. As Rowan searches for answers about her past, she travels to New Orleans and becomes entangled in the complicated history of the Mayfair family.
There, she encounters generations of family secrets and the mysterious presence of Lasher, a supernatural entity that has haunted the Mayfairs for centuries. As Rowan learns more about her unusual abilities and her family’s dark legacy, she must confront dangerous truths that challenge her understanding of herself and the world around her.
Throughout Season 1, Rowan’s journey brings her into contact with members of the Mayfair family and Ciprien “Sip” Grieve, an investigator connected to the secretive Talamasca. Their investigations reveal hidden relationships, unsettling mysteries and a prophecy that may determine the family’s future.
Blending gothic horror, supernatural fantasy, mystery, thriller elements and character-driven drama, the series creates an atmospheric story filled with family secrets, powerful forces and unexplained events.
