NCIS: Origins Season 1-2 Complete Collection (3BD) Blu-ray
Go back to the beginning of Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ career with NCIS: Origins, the crime drama that explores the early years of one of the most iconic characters in the NCIS universe.
Set in the early 1990s, the series follows a young Gibbs as he joins the fledgling NCIS Camp Pendleton office. Working under legendary NCIS agent Mike Franks, Gibbs becomes part of a gritty team investigating dangerous cases involving members of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
Season 1 introduces Gibbs as a newly minted special agent and follows his development as an investigator. Working alongside Franks and the Camp Pendleton team, he investigates murders, missing persons, military crimes, classified information and other cases that test his instincts and determination. The season also explores the personal experiences that shape Gibbs’ character and his approach to law enforcement.
Season 2 continues Gibbs’ early career as the NCIS Camp Pendleton team faces new threats and increasingly complicated investigations. Mike Franks continues to lead the team while Gibbs develops his skills and relationships with his colleagues. Cases throughout the season include murder investigations, military crimes, smuggling, undercover operations, bombings, disappearances and other dangerous criminal cases. CBS describes Season 2 as delving deeper into the Camp Pendleton team and Gibbs’ early career as a special agent.
Across both seasons, NCIS: Origins provides a deeper look at the people, cases and experiences that helped shape the future NCIS team. The series combines crime investigation, military drama, personal relationships and character-driven storytelling.
Starring Austin Stowell as young Leroy Jethro Gibbs, Kyle Schmid as Mike Franks and Mariel Molino as Lala Dominguez, with Mark Harmon providing narration, NCIS: Origins is an excellent choice for fans of crime dramas, police procedurals, military investigations and the wider NCIS franchise. CBS officially lists the series as a drama with two seasons.
