Enter the brutal world of Oswald State Penitentiary with OZ Season 1-6 Complete Series, featuring all six seasons of the acclaimed HBO prison drama.
Set inside the fictional Oswald State Penitentiary, commonly known as Oz, the series explores life inside a maximum-security prison from the perspectives of inmates, correctional officers, administrators and other people working within the institution.
The prison’s experimental Emerald City unit attempts to create a more rehabilitative environment for its inmates, but maintaining order proves extremely difficult. Rival gangs, criminal organizations, personal conflicts and struggles for power constantly threaten the fragile balance inside the prison.
Throughout the six-season story, inmates face violence, betrayal, alliances and the consequences of their actions. The series also examines the relationships between prisoners and staff while exploring themes of justice, punishment, rehabilitation, corruption, loyalty and survival.
With its large ensemble cast and interconnected storylines, OZ presents a dark and uncompromising look at the American prison system. The series combines crime storytelling with character-driven drama and intense psychological conflict.
Across Seasons 1-6, the characters’ stories develop through changing alliances, new inmates, political struggles and increasingly dangerous conflicts within Oz. The complete six-season collection provides the full story from the series’ beginning through its conclusion.
This 6-disc Blu-ray collection is an excellent choice for fans of HBO dramas, prison dramas, crime television and mature, character-driven storytelling.
