Product Description
Experience the heartwarming British period drama All Creatures Great and Small with Series 1-6 collected in this 12-disc DVD box set.
Based on the beloved books by James Herriot, the series follows a young veterinary surgeon who moves to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales in the late 1930s to begin his career at Skeldale House in the fictional village of Darrowby.
Working alongside the eccentric but experienced Siegfried Farnon, his younger brother Tristan Farnon, and the caring housekeeper Mrs Hall, James encounters a wonderful variety of animals, challenging veterinary cases, colourful local characters and unexpected adventures.
Across six series, James builds a life in Yorkshire, develops his relationship with Helen Alderson, and faces the challenges of family, friendship, love and professional responsibility as Britain moves through the Second World War.
Starring Nicholas Ralph, Samuel West, Anna Madeley, Rachel Shenton and Callum Woodhouse, All Creatures Great and Small combines period drama, gentle comedy, family relationships and beautiful countryside scenery.
Series 6 takes the story into 1945, as the end of the war brings new hope, personal challenges and changes to life at Skeldale House.
This collection brings together Series 1-6 of the much-loved British television drama in one convenient 12-disc DVD box set.
