Product Description
Experience the complete classic British television drama All Creatures Great and Small with Seasons 1-7 collected in this extensive 28-disc DVD box set.
Based on the beloved books by James Herriot, the series follows a young veterinary surgeon beginning his career in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales during the 1930s.
After arriving in the fictional village of Darrowby, James joins the veterinary practice of the eccentric but highly skilled Siegfried Farnon, alongside Siegfried’s mischievous younger brother Tristan Farnon.
As James adjusts to country life, he encounters a colourful collection of farmers, villagers and animals while dealing with challenging veterinary cases, unexpected adventures and the everyday joys and difficulties of rural England.
The series also follows James’s developing relationship with Helen Alderson, exploring friendship, romance, family life and the changing British countryside through the years surrounding the Second World War.
Starring Christopher Timothy, Robert Hardy, Peter Davison, Carol Drinkwater and Lynda Bellingham, All Creatures Great and Small combines heartwarming drama, gentle British humour and memorable countryside storytelling.
This collection includes all 7 seasons and 90 episodes, bringing together the complete original 1978–1990 BBC television series in one comprehensive 28-disc DVD box set.
