Product Description
Enter the tense and unpredictable world of British intelligence with Slow Horses Seasons 1-5.
The series follows a dysfunctional group of MI5 agents assigned to Slough House, a department where intelligence officers who have made career-ending mistakes are sent. Despite being treated as outcasts, the Slow Horses repeatedly find themselves at the center of dangerous operations and national security threats.
At the heart of the series is Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but abrasive leader of Slough House, played by Gary Oldman. Alongside agents including River Cartwright, Louisa Guy, Roddy Ho, Shirley Dander, and others, Lamb and his team become involved in complicated espionage operations where mistakes can have serious consequences.
Across Seasons 1-5, the team confronts terrorist threats, political conspiracies, assassinations, intelligence operations, double-crosses, and conflicts within the British security services. The series combines tense spy storytelling with dark British humor and complex character relationships. Apple describes Slow Horses as a darkly humorous espionage drama following dysfunctional MI5 agents navigating the dangerous world of intelligence.
Season 5 follows the Slow Horses as strange events surrounding Roddy Ho’s new relationship develop into a much larger threat. The team must uncover how the events are connected while dealing with another dangerous espionage operation. Season 5 consists of six episodes and premiered in September 2025.
This 10-disc collection brings together Seasons 1-5 and is an excellent choice for fans of British spy dramas, crime thrillers, MI5 stories, espionage, political conspiracies, and character-driven television.
