Product Description
Experience the complete Cold War espionage thriller The Americans with Seasons 1-6 collected in this extensive 23-disc DVD box set.
Set during the 1980s Cold War, the series follows Philip and Elizabeth Jennings, two highly trained Soviet KGB agents living undercover as an ordinary married couple in suburban Washington, D.C.
To their neighbours and children, Philip and Elizabeth appear to be typical American parents running a travel agency. In reality, they are deep-cover spies carrying out dangerous intelligence operations for the Soviet Union.
As tensions between the United States and the Soviet Union intensify, the Jennings must balance secret missions, surveillance, undercover identities and political loyalties while protecting their family from discovering the truth.
Their lives become increasingly complicated when Stan Beeman, an FBI counterintelligence agent, moves in next door, creating a dangerous situation in which their closest neighbour could expose their entire operation.
Starring Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys, Noah Emmerich, Holly Taylor, Keidrich Sellati, Margo Martindale and Costa Ronin, The Americans combines espionage, psychological thriller, crime, political drama and complex family relationships.
Created by Joe Weisberg, the series explores loyalty, identity, marriage, betrayal and the personal consequences of living a double life.
This collection includes all 6 seasons and 75 episodes, bringing together the complete series in one comprehensive 23-disc DVD box set.
