Return to the spectacular world of Middle-earth in Season 2 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
Following the events of the first season, Sauron has returned and begins working to rebuild his power. As the creation of the legendary Rings of Power moves forward, the various peoples of Middle-earth face an increasingly dangerous threat.
Season 2 expands the story across several locations and follows characters including Galadriel, Elrond, Sauron, Celebrimbor, the Stranger, Nori, Isildur, Arondir, Míriel and Prince Durin IV.
Galadriel and Elrond face difficult choices as the power of the Elven Rings becomes increasingly important. Meanwhile, Celebrimbor becomes deeply involved in the creation of additional Rings, while Sauron uses deception and manipulation to advance his plans.
Elsewhere in Middle-earth, the darkness surrounding Khazad-dûm grows, Númenor faces political and social turmoil, and the Stranger and Nori continue their journey into unfamiliar lands where new dangers await.
As the season progresses, the different storylines begin to converge around a growing conflict between the forces of Middle-earth and the rising power of Sauron. The struggle for the future of the realm becomes increasingly dangerous as alliances are tested and major battles approach.
Season 2 consists of eight episodes, building toward a dramatic finale in which the free peoples of Middle-earth struggle against the forces of darkness.
